On Tuesday, July 01, 2025 the Storm Prediction Center has put majority of Maryland in a level 2/5 slight risk.
Ares in red are in a significant excessive rainfall risk and orange are in an elevated risk. This threat will persist overnight. An excess of over 3 inches of rain could fall within an hour in isolated ares, where storms are intense.
These storms have potential to be severe and produce winds upwards of 60mph, 1 inch hail, and a low end tornado risk. This picture was from the storm on Monday,June 30, 2025 near Kingsville, MD that was trying to produce for severe hours.
